Analog Electrics Lab 3

Part 1a)
When you start to solder, turn on the temperature setting to between four and five on the soldering machine. While you wait for the soldering iron to heat up resting on the stand, take the sponge that comes with the soldering machine and soak it with water. This is used to clean the tip of the soldering iron as you solder.
Part 1b)
Before you step away from the soldering iron, make sure that the iron is turned off and placed on the stand. Also, after you are done soldering make sure to clean the tip of the soldering iron for the next person using it.

Part 2a)
Now that we are using the multimeter to measure current, voltage, and resistance, you need to make sure that the red(+) probe is connected to the red A terminal. Anything other than measure the current the red(+) probed should be connected to the other red terminal.

Trouble Shooting Log
Make sure to check where the red probe is connected to before measuring.
