1) Boss PW-3 Wah Pedal(Analog)
I like this pedal because it is a wah pedal that has a switch that changes the sound from a rich mode that retains the low-end definition and fullness to a vintage mode that gives the sound a classic wah vibe. The only thing that I dislike about this product is the size that is a little smaller than regular wah pedals, making it a little more difficult to manage.
2) MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delay M292(Analog)
One thing I like about this pedal is that it has multiple features within the main delay function of the pedal. One of the features include a tap tempo function that gives more control over the repeats. Also, due to its large size, it has a screen that displays the different subdivisions. There is nothing that I really dislike about this pedal.
3) Ibanez ADMINI (Analog)
I really like how this is a mini size pedal. Despite the limit in features, the fact that it is tiny and allows you to have multiple mini pedals connected in a board gives a lot of comfortability.
1b) From what I observed, bigger companies are creating pedals that have the basic/main features that users are looking for at a reasonable price that the consumers are willing to purchase. However boutique companies such as Death By Audio are producing pedals that a niche group of users are looking for with an advance feature. Because of the uniqueness to the pedals that are created from boutique companies the price range is a bit higher than the bigger companies. It seems that the bigger companies sole purpose is to maximize their profit from each product they make, while boutique companies try to sell their products to “real” musicians that need their product features.
1c) Chase Bliss Audio Thermae Analog Delay and Pitch Shifter Guitar Effect Pedal
This pedal is unique is that it is an analog delay and a pitch shifter in one unit. Because this is an analog pedal, it doesn’t alter the input signal in any way.
2) This is a Pin Diode Absorptive SP5T Switch

3) Momentary buttons remain on only if the button is being compressed. An application of a momentary button is a drill. The drill only rotates if you compress the momentary button.
A latching button only needs to be pressed on once and it will remain on until the button is pressed again. An application of this type of button is light switches. Once you flip the switch once, the light will remain on until you turn it off.
